How much do Reply Letters From Santa cost?
There are two options: Posted and Download-Only
Posted:
Each letter from Santa costs £5.99 (GBP) and includes free worldwide delivery and a sachet of 'magical Reindeer Dust' for UK Mainland destinations (excluding Northern Ireland). The price is the same for both UK and Non-UK addressed letters.
Each 'Good List Approved' medal and certificate costs £5.49 (GBP). We can only send medals/certificates to UK Mainland destinations.
Download/Email-Only:
We offer a Download/Email-Only option where letters and certificates can be downloaded as PDF files for printing at home. They can be e-mailed direct to yourself or a child and come from a special Santa e-mail address so there's no reference to yourself or to this website. The cost, which includes a letter and a certificate, is £2.74 (GBP) each.
The download/email-only option does not include reindeer dust or a medal and no items are sent in the post.
How will my Santa letter be personalised?
In addition to the child's name and address, your Reply Letter From Santa will be personalised based on the choices you make whilst creating the letter. The order screen will guide you through making your choices such as:
- Is the letter for a boy or a girl?
- Age of your child
- Where will your child be staying on Christmas Eve?
- Siblings (if applicable and you wish to use them)
- Whether your child has seen Santa already this year
- Whether the house has a chimney or not
- Most preferred Christmas present
- Food that is left out for Santa and Rudolph
- Where the presents are left
- Preferred letter signature (i.e. Santa Claus, Father Christmas or St Nicholas)?
- and others.....
Although we will require the answers to a few questions, most are at your discretion whether you answer them or not. The more you answer, the more paragraphs you will have to choose from!
You will be given the opportunity to view the details to be included in your letter before we take payment. We aim to make your personalised Reply Letter from Santa better than any other available on the internet, but if, for any reason, you are not totally satisfied we offer you a full money back guarantee.
When can I order a Reply Letter from Santa?
From 1st January up until the day before the Royal Mail's Last Posting Date (i.e. 17th December 2024 for letters to the UK). i.e. any time during the year. We recommend that reply letters from Santa are ordered as soon as possible to avoid disappointment as we regret that we cannot accept responsibility for letters which arrive after Christmas if they are ordered too close to the last-posting-date deadline.
When will my Reply Letter From Santa arrive?
For letters going to a UK address:
Letters will be sent by Royal Mail in the first few days of December for all orders received before this date. For orders received on or after 1st December all letters will be posted out within 48 hours of receipt of the order (usually within 24 hours), up to the Royal Mail's last posting date. You can check the status of your order by using the Track Your Order option in the menu.
For letters going abroad:
Letters will be posted by airmail in the first few days of December for all orders received prior to this date. For orders received on or after 1st December your letter will be posted by airmail within 48 hours of receipt of the order (usually within 24 hours), up to the Royal Mail's Last Posting Date.
We will send you an e-mail when the letter has been posted. Please note that we have been advised of a few occasions where letters which have been posted together have not arrived at the same time - with 2-3 days difference in some cases. You can check the status of your order by using the Track Your Order option in the menu.
Can a Santa letter be sent to an address outside the UK?
Yes, we make no extra charge for posting letters outside the UK. Please remember that letters being sent abroad will need to be posted much earlier than letters being posted to UK addresses.
How do I pay for my Reply Letter From Santa?
We accept the following debit and credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Switch/Maestro, Solo, Visa Delta and Visa Electron. Unfortunately we have no facility to accept orders when payment is by cheque or cash.
What is the 'Reindeer Dust'?
The 'Reindeer Dust' is a small sachet containing a 'magical' mixture of oats and sparkling glitter and comes with a special rhyme attached. The 'Reindeer Dust' should be sprinkled outside the child's house on Christmas eve to help Rudolph and the other reindeer find the house. The dust sparkles in the moonlight to add to the magic of that special evening. We probably don't need to tell you this, but as the Reindeer dust contains glitter it must not be eaten by humans of any size!
Due to Brexit and customs regulations we can now only include Reindeer Dust to UK Mainland destinations. This includes England, Scotland and Wales.
What is a 'Voucher Code'?
You may have been given a 'Voucher Code' by your school, nursery, playgroup, etc, or through other promotional material. Entering the Voucher Code on the payment page will either change the cost of the letters, or allow us to track letters ordered for a particular school and make the donation at the end of the order period.
How secure are my credit/debit card details?
We use WorldPay/Cybersource to process our credit/debit card payments. Cybersource (https://www.cybersource.com/en-gb.html) is a well established company specialising in electronic payment processing and for added security you are directed to their secure server to enter your card details. Your card details are not seen or stored by ourselves.
Do you pass my details to any other Company?
No. We have a policy of not passing order details on to any other company. Our company is registered with the Information Commissioner as required by the Data Protection Act - registration number Z2442169. We will only send e-mails to the e-mail address supplied by you when placing orders and will remove you from the mailing list as soon as you request us to.
Is there a money back guarantee?
Yes. We aim to provide a very high quality service and hope that our customers will continue to use us for many years to come. We also hope that customers will recommend our letters from Santas to their friends. In the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with our service then please contact us using the contact form stating your Order Reference and providing the e-mail address used when placing the order to us within 30 days of the letter being sent and we will happily refund your money in full. We would also appreciate your comments so that we can ensure that we learn from any mistakes.
